Minister of Defence to launch ‘Lead the Way’ Defence Transformation Strategy

Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC will launch ‘Lead the Way’, the new Defence Transformation Strategy, at a live streamed online event hosted by IPAA ACT on 27 November 2020, beginning at 9.30 am.
Together with the ‘2020 Defence Strategic Update’ and the ‘2020 Force Structure Plan’, the Defence Transformation Strategy provides the long-term vision and framework to guide Defence to shape, deter and respond to challenges in Australia’s national interests now, and into the future.
Adaptation and agility are central to Defence’s ability to fulfil its role and meet its commitments to the Government and to the Australian people.
The Minister’s speech to Defence’s Senior Leaders Group will be livestreamed via Gov Teams which is accessible to the general public via a web browser.
