Seven public sector leaders from across Australia have been awarded IPAA National fellowships, recognising their outstanding contributions to public service and IPAA.

Fellowships are awarded on an annual basis. This year, the following members form the 2024 cohort of IPAA National Fellows:

  • Rosemary Huxtable AO PSM (IPAA ACT)
  • Peter Woolcott AO (IPAA ACT)
  • John Bradley PSM (IPAA VIC)
  • Susan Pearce AM (IPAA NSW)
  • Deidre Mulkerin (IPAA QLD)
  • Dr Linda Colley (IPAA QLD)
  • Elizabeth (Liz) MacLeod PSM (IPAA WA)

“From finance to healthcare to energy to child safety and beyond, these leaders have made a profound impact in their careers. They embody the true meaning of public service – putting the people they serve as public administrators at the heart of their work. I applaud their exemplary commitment and passion,” IPAA National President Andrew Metcalfe AO said.

Nominations for national fellows are made annually by IPAA division presidents and assessed by a sub-committee of the IPAA National Council. Upon receiving the fellowship, fellows are now permitted to use the postnominal ‘FIPAA’ and gain life-time access to IPAA membership.
