SUMMIT:

pride in purpose

On 26 September, IPAA National in collaboration with IPAA divisions hosted the inaugural IPAA National Summit, gathering public servants across Australia online. The summit focused on strengthening and rebuilding integrity, reinforcing trust in public services in Australia, and celebrating pride in public service. 

We heard from 

  • Professor Secretary Glyn Davis AC,  Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,
  • Belinda Drew, Deputy Director-General, Communities, Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts, Queensland,
  • Elizabeth Tydd, Information Commissioner, Information and Privacy Commission NSW,
  • Brigid Monagle, Commissioner, Victorian Public Sector Commission,
  • Mark Webb FIPAA, Chief Executive of the NSW Department of Parliamentary Services and President of IPAA NSW.

The panelists also shared practical tips and inspiration in making continuous improvements in the delivery of programs and policies that serve Australia’s communities.
