Kevin Riley is a Fellow with both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and CPA Australia and a Member of the Institute’s ACT Division.
He has been an adviser to local councils and state and federal government agencies for more than 15 years. This includes working with Treasury and Finance departments in most jurisdictions developing and reviewing budget costings, preparing and analysing financial reports and building financial literacy and financial management capabilities. Kevin has also been assisting agencies in developing and evaluating performance frameworks. This has included integrating performance systems, linking financial and non-financial performance measures and KPIs.
Prior to this experience Kevin was a senior manager with Coopers & Lybrand and before that Price Waterhouse. In those roles Kevin was responsible for audit, internal control and performance reviews including assignments on behalf of the Australian National Audit Office.
Kevin has contributed to public sector publications by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is a regular presenter at CPA Australia conferences and congresses.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Economics and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and Member of the International Coach Federation.
