Adrian Kay is Professor of Government in the Crawford School of Public Policy at the ANU. He has previously held academic appointments in the UK and Asia. Prior to an academic career, Adrian was a graduate trainee at Lehman Brothers and then spent several years on the UK government’s European Fast Stream, including an extended period on secondment at the European Commission in Brussels. His research areas lie at the intersection of comparative and international public policy, with a particular focus on health. Adrian’s research has received funding from the ARC, NHMRC, ESRC in the UK as well as the Wellcome Trust, and has been published regularly in leading international journals.
